The City of Mar­i­on strives to main­tain our urban for­est by remov­ing dead and/​or decayed trees that could pose a dan­ger or safe­ty issue to our res­i­dents. We are envi­ron­men­tal­ly con­scious and care about qual­i­ty of life in our com­mu­ni­ty. There­fore, we also replant trees.

There are sev­er­al things to think about regard­ing tree care. Mar­i­on home­own­ers are encour­aged to con­tact the arborist on our staff with ques­tions about plant­i­ng, reshap­ing, or cut­ting down trees. Our arborist can also share a wealth of infor­ma­tion with you on what makes trees thrive and what hurts them.
