Grant for Grads
Marion/Grant County touts a financial incentive program for college graduates. The Grant County Economic Growth Council’s ‘Grant for Grads’ housing assistance program provides monetary assistance toward home purchases for graduates choosing to work and live in Grant County. The program is a proud partnership with the Affordable Housing Community Development Corporation (AHC). The “Growth Council” also offers an array of incentives for businesses. Free City Bus
The City of Marion prides itself on offering free bus service. Our Transit System is acclaimed by the Indiana Council on Specialized Transportation and the National Rural Transit Assistance Program.
Free Event Space
The 5th Street Commons is a parking lot by day, but one may reserve the space for an event in the multi-use outdoor space which offers flood lighting, electrical hook-up, a stage, and attractive landscaping.
