MPD Hires Parking Enforcement Officer, Downtown Parking Available for Lease Share

Effec­tive Mon­day, March 14^th, 2022, the Mar­i­on Police Depart­ment is again uti­liz­ing a park­ing enforce­ment offi­cer to ensure motorists are obey­ing park­ing signs, par­tic­u­lar­ly downtown. 

The enforce­ment is to encour­age patrons to find park­ing clos­er to the busi­ness­es while dis­cour­ag­ing busi­ness own­ers and down­town employ­ees from park­ing all day in areas meant for patrons.
