Restricted Parking around Square beginning 6/26/25 for Brick Removal/Asphalt Installation Share

Crews are start­ing the removal of the dec­o­ra­tive bricks on the Cour­t­house Square to install new asphalt in order to meet Indi­ana Depart­ment of Trans­porta­tion specifications.

Phase #1:

• Adams St. between SR18 E and W
• Wash­ing­ton St. between SR18 E and W

This will be the inside por­tion around the Cour­t­house Square. Phase #1 will take approx­i­mate­ly 5 days begin­ning Thurs­day, June 26^th, 2025. When Phase #1 is com­plet­ed Phase #2 will start.

Phase #2:

• SR 18 East and West 

This will cov­er the out­side of the Square. This phase will take approx. 5 days to complete.

*Detour signs and lane clo­sures will be placed.
*No park­ing will be per­mit­ted dur­ing the demo­li­tion and construction.
