Due to the extreme wind con­di­tions pre­dict­ed from 12am Fri­day to 12pm Sun­day, if you lose pow­er it could be an extend­ed peri­od before pow­er is restored. If you depend on life sus­tain­ing equip­ment in your home, you should make plans now to move to a loca­tion with back-up elec­tri­cal pow­er for the dura­tion of this storm.

Warm­ing Shel­ters in Marion:

St. Mar­tin Com­mu­ni­ty Cen­ter will be open as a warm­ing cen­ter and shel­ter if need­ed.
901 S. Bran­son St. Any­one can call 7656181924.

Grant Coun­ty Res­cue Mis­sion will also be open for any­one that needs shel­ter.
423 So. Gal­latin St. No need to call they will be open.
