Double H Manufacturing began as family-owned profile extrusion manufacturer in Warminster, Pennsylvania. In 1998, Double H opened its second facility in Marion, IN and built the now 100,000 sq. ft. facility they operate out of today.

Double H has a long history of innovation. Harry Harp founded Double H Plastics in 1960, and through an extrusion process in his basement, he invented the first plastic cocktail drinking straw. Years later, while Harp was hospitalized for a back problem, he invented the flex straw” which provided necessary flexibility in the drinking straw. After his hospitalization, Harp began manufacturing dispenstirs” (little plastic tubes) for the medical industry.

Today, Double H has expanded to pail molding and printing, IML capability, paperboard printing, and rigid cup forming. Most recognizably, Double H manufactures the plastic lids we find on Quaker Oats, Haagen-Dazs, Kirkland, and Red Mill products, etc.

Double H continues to prioritize innovation and entrepreneurialism. Double H is excited to see how the plastic industry continues to evolve and how they can expand into emerging technologies.
