Splash House Lifeguards Needed, YMCA Offering Certification Share

The Grant Coun­ty Fam­i­ly YMCA is assist­ing the City of Mar­i­on in fill­ing Splash House Life­guard posi­tions by offer­ing a cer­ti­fi­ca­tion course lat­er this month. The one-week course takes place Mon., April 23^rd through Sat., April 28^th at the Grant Coun­ty YMCA. Cost is $200 for the entire course, which includes the required books. To sign up for the course, call the YMCA front desk at 765.664.0544.

You must be at least 15 years old to apply for a life­guard posi­tion with the City of Mar­i­on. The pay is $7.75 per hour. If you have not yet been cer­ti­fied but plan to take a cer­ti­fi­ca­tion course, you may apply for a posi­tion with the Splash House before the course is complete.

The Splash House opens on May 26^th, 2018 and remains open through Labor Day.
