On, Tuesday, September 24th, 2019 at 6pm, a public hearing will take place at the Marion Public Library & Museum inside the Forrest Room located on the 2nd Floor of the Carnegie Building. The public hearing is based around the City of Marion’s collaborative grant application for $600,000 through the Office of Community & Rural Affairs’ (OCRA’s) Main Street Revitalization Program (MSRP). If received, the $600,000 grant would allow the City to infill underground vaults beneath Downtown, Marion’s sidewalks as well as make progress on pedestrian and bicycle paths.
