On, Tues­day, Sep­tem­ber 24^th, 2019 at 6pm, a pub­lic hear­ing will take place at the Mar­i­on Pub­lic Library & Muse­um inside the For­rest Room locat­ed on the 2^nd Floor of the Carnegie Build­ing. The pub­lic hear­ing is based around the City of Mar­i­on’s col­lab­o­ra­tive grant appli­ca­tion for $600,000 through the Office of Com­mu­ni­ty & Rur­al Affairs’ (OCRA’s) Main Street Revi­tal­iza­tion Pro­gram (MSRP). If received, the $600,000 grant would allow the City to infill under­ground vaults beneath Down­town, Mar­i­on’s side­walks as well as make progress on pedes­tri­an and bicy­cle paths.
