The City of Mar­i­on will be accept­ing appli­ca­tions through Fri­day, June 2^nd, 2017 for the fol­low­ing position:

The City of Mar­i­on is seek­ing an ener­getic, self-start­ing indi­vid­ual for a full-time Code Enforce­ment Officer.

Job respon­si­bil­i­ties: Respon­si­ble for the enforce­ment of City codes and ordi­nances; con­ducts inves­ti­ga­tions and makes reports for code vio­la­tions; per­forms oth­er duties assigned by the Build­ing Commissioner.

Qual­i­fi­ca­tions: Any com­bi­na­tion of edu­ca­tion, train­ing and expe­ri­ence which pro­vides the nec­es­sary skills, knowl­edge and abil­i­ties to per­form the work of this posi­tion; must pos­sess valid driver’s license.
