The Marion City Council is accepting resumes with a cover letter for the 2021 calendar year for the position of City Council attorney. The lawyer must practice in the city limits and hold no other positions that will be considered as conflict of interest. Resumes need to be submitted no later than 4:00pm on Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020. The City Council attorney will be selected at a special meeting on December 29th, 2020 at 7:00pm. This meeting will be held in the Council chambers of the Marion Municipal Building at 301 S. Branson Street, Marion, Indiana and by Zoom for those who would rather attend virtually.
