City Offices Closed on July 4th, Buses Providing Service for Tonight's Concert & Fireworks Share

City of Mar­i­on Admin­is­tra­tive Offices will close on July 4^th, 2019 in obser­vance of Inde­pen­dence Day.

Mar­i­on Util­i­ties will pick up trash on Fri­day the 5^th as opposed to Thursday.

Bus­es will not run on the 4^th of July. They, how­ev­er, will have two bus­es shut­tling patrons to the fire­works event tonight begin­ning at 5:30pm until after the fire­works. The spe­cial tran­sit ser­vice will run to and from Five Points Mall (at the for­mer Sears lot) and the Gar­dens of Mat­ter Park.
