The City of Marion Police Department and Neighborhood Association Coordinator are adding Nextdoor.com as a tool to communicate with citizens. The added method of communication effectively reaches specific areas within Marion according to Marion Police Chief Angela Haley & Neighborhood Association Coordinator Kayla Johnson. The Nextdoor app is a free tool, and is being used in addition to the current methods both departments are already utilizing. It will not replace other methods, but will simply accommodate residents who choose to utilize the Nextdoor.com app or receive emails from Nextdoor.com. The link to Nextdoor.com is found below.
