City of Mar­i­on 2^nd Deputy Clerk Vick­ie Burns is being ​“Spot­light­ed” by her super­vi­sor, City Clerk Kathi Kiley.

Kiley said, ​“I want to show Vick­ie my appre­ci­a­tion for all she does in the Clerk’s Office. I feel extreme­ly lucky and very proud of the job Vick­ie does for my office. Her atten­tion to detail is such that when I make Court entries, I give the files to Vick­ie to check my work. Vick­ie is nev­er afraid to learn new things, and always steps up when asked to help in any way. I con­sid­er Vick­ie more than an employ­ee; she has become a trust­ed and val­ued friend to both 1^st Deputy Deb­bie Good­man and myself.”

Burns is on vaca­tion this week, and will be giv­en local baked goods as a small token of appre­ci­a­tion on behalf of the Employ­ee Spot­light pro­gram upon her return.

Burns han­dles all of the respon­si­bil­i­ties asso­ci­at­ed with City Court. She has been employed with the City of Mar­i­on since August of 2014.
