The City of Mar­i­on is prepar­ing for the annu­al Inde­pen­dence Day cel­e­bra­tion on Mon­day, July 3^rd, 2023 in Mat­ter Park.

Food ven­dors will be set up at 5pm.

The Kids Car­ni­val with an inflat­able play­ground will be set up between 6 – 8pm.

Tap­pan That Sound will DJ between 5 and 8pm.

Music with Zach Day & Full Throt­tle will take place in the Gar­dens from 8 – 10pm. Please bring a lawn chair or pic­nic blanket.

Fire­works begin at dusk (when the music ends).

*Please do not bring your own fire­works into the park.

Park­ing: Please park in des­ig­nat­ed park­ing lots, and the grassy area beside the soft­ball field. Try to refrain from park­ing along the nar­row roads.
