The Box Express and More opened in Mar­i­on in 1986, and is the go-to resource for pack­ing, ship­ping, print­ing, and busi­ness ser­vice needs for Mar­i­on res­i­dents and busi­ness­es. Cur­rent own­ers, Deb­bie and Rick Tardy, bought the busi­ness in 2013.

As the busi­ness grew, it moved to 1408 S. West­ern Avenue. 

The name, ​“The Box Express and More,” is not even indica­tive of the array of ser­vices that the busi­ness actu­al­ly does. They do ship­ping, pro­fes­sion­al pack­ing, dig­i­tal mail­box­es, pho­to print­ing, fin­ger­print­ing, mail­box rental, and gift wrap­ping. They car­ry greet­ing cards and flags, and are expand­ing their bal­loon and print­ing business.

“Our favorite thing about doing busi­ness in Mar­i­on is the com­mu­ni­ty! We’re always meet­ing new peo­ple and tru­ly appre­ci­ate the cus­tomers that con­tin­ue to come back over the years,” said Deb­bie Tardy.

The busi­ness has two ded­i­cat­ed employ­ees who are eager and ready to serve their customers.

Rick and Deb­bie remain thank­ful for the sup­port of the com­mu­ni­ty, and are look­ing for­ward to a bright future in Marion.
