A message from the Mayor:

As a result of the dangerous temperatures we are about to endure, I am asking all residents of the City of Marion to stay off the roadways unless it is a dire emergency. Not only are you putting your own health at risk, you are jeopardizing the safety of our police and firefighters who have to respond to any emergency or situation that may occur on our city streets. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this critical situation.” — Mayor Jess Alumbaugh
