Save the Date: National Night Out, 8/1/23 Share

The com­mu­ni­ty is invit­ed to gath­er in the Gar­dens of Mat­ter Park for Nation­al Night Out (NNO2023

This year’s fea­tures will include a DJ, free hot dogs served by MFD, kid-friend­ly activ­i­ties such as Won­der­space, a bounce house, bas­ket­ball HORSE” games with first respon­ders, Tug of War, and Scav­enger Hunt Bin­go” between respon­ders and cit­i­zens for a BIG PRIZE! The big tent in the Gar­dens will house an array of inter­ac­tive booths host­ed by numer­ous agen­cies — all with the shared inten­tion to build safe and wel­com­ing neigh­bor­hoods in our community.

May­or Jess Alum­baugh will do a spe­cial procla­ma­tion on the main stage out­side. Com­mu­ni­ty leader Steve Wright will emcee the event.

The Gar­den House will serve as a cool­ing sta­tion with restrooms, and will also host spe­cial pre­sen­ta­tions inside.

Through­out the Gar­dens, there will be spe­cial areas of fea­tures and demon­stra­tions includ­ing a Police K9 Demo, Touch-a-Truck, Hands of Hope’s Clothes­line Project, and much more.

About City of Mar­i­on Neigh­bor­hood Asso­ci­a­tions — Neigh­bor­hood Asso­ci­a­tions exist with the goal to build and main­tain safe, wel­com­ing neigh­bor­hoods with the City of Mar­i­on together.

About Nation­al Night Out” — NNO aims to build trust­ing rela­tion­ships between the com­mu­ni­ty and first responders.
