Robin L. Fouce is a longstanding advocate for public service and community development, serving as the City of Marion’s Chief of Staff, and previously the president of the Marion Common Council.
A seasoned public servant, Fouce explained her journey in public office has been marked by dedication and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Having earned the trust of constituents, Fouce won reelection to the Common Council, and was then appointed as Chief of Staff by Mayor Ronald Morrell, Jr. In addition to Morrell’s election win making him Marion’s first Black mayor, his appointment of Fouce made history with her serving as the first Black chief of staff for the City of Marion.
Fouce expressed, “I am driven by a deep-rooted belief in the power of local government to shape a brighter future for all.”
Education and continuous learning are at the core of Fouce’s professional philosophy. “Armed with a solid foundation of education and training, I am a competent leader as well as a catalyst for positive change in the community through public service.”
As Chief of Staff, Fouce works to bridge gaps, champion initiatives, and ensure that city government operates efficiently and responsively. She stated her vision is clear. “To be a community where every voice is heard, and every individual is given the opportunity to thrive.”
Beyond the political arena, Fouce is a passionate sports enthusiast, finding inspiration and camaraderie in the world of athletics. Her love for sports mirrors her approach to leadership, teamwork, resilience, and a commitment to achieving common goals.
Fouce returned to her hometown, and said she remains steadfast to make a difference and leave an indelible mark on the City of Marion’s future.
To date, Fouce’s commitment to fostering positive change within the community has made a lasting impact on the lives of residents in Marion and Grant County.
