Request for Funds: Sub­stance Use Pre­ven­tion, Treat­ment & Recov­ery Access Grant

Fund­ed by Opi­oid Set­tle­ment Funds | Mar­i­on, Indiana

The City of Mar­i­on is accept­ing appli­ca­tions from non­prof­it and com­mu­ni­ty-based orga­ni­za­tions to sup­port sub­stance use pre­ven­tion, treat­ment, harm reduc­tion, and recov­ery ser­vices for Mar­i­on residents.

This grant uses Opi­oid Set­tle­ment Funds to strength­en Marion’s local con­tin­u­um of care, reduce opi­oid-relat­ed harm, and improve equi­table access to ser­vices for under­served pop­u­la­tions. Both new ini­tia­tives and exist­ing pro­grams are eli­gi­ble to apply. Exist­ing pro­grams must demon­strate effec­tive­ness, while new ini­tia­tives must address a doc­u­ment­ed ser­vice gap.

Award Range: Up to $50,000

Eli­gi­ble activ­i­ties may include:
• Treat­ment and recov­ery sup­port ser­vices
• Peer recov­ery sup­port
• Harm reduc­tion and over­dose pre­ven­tion
• Reen­try and care coordination

Fund­ing may be used for per­son­nel, pro­gram sup­plies, train­ing, out­reach, and evaluation.

Eli­gi­ble Appli­cants: 501(c)(3) non­prof­it, faith-based, and com­mu­ni­ty-based orga­ni­za­tions serv­ing Mar­i­on, IN.
