The City of Mar­i­on will be accept­ing appli­ca­tions through Fri­day, May 5th, 2017 for the fol­low­ing position:

The City of Mar­i­on is seek­ing an ener­getic, self-start­ing indi­vid­ual for a full-time Build­ing and Grounds Manager.

Job Respon­si­bil­i­ties: Over­sees all main­te­nance and house­keep­ing func­tions for the City build­ing and grounds; main­tains inven­to­ry of sup­plies; pre­pares annu­al depart­men­tal bud­get; assigns and coor­di­nates work duties for com­mu­ni­ty cor­rec­tions and sum­mer youth employees.

Qual­i­fi­ca­tions: Com­ple­tion of sec­ondary edu­ca­tion or com­bi­na­tion of train­ing and work expe­ri­ence in build­ing and mechan­i­cal main­te­nance includ­ing elec­tri­cal, heat­ing, air con­di­tion­ing, plumb­ing, etc.; must pos­sess a valid driver’s license.
