Mike Vermilion has been a City of Marion employee since 2007. He served as a Code Enforcement Officer from 2007 until 2017, and from there went on to become the Permit Compliance Officer.
“Mike has worked diligently in each of his assigned duties over the years for the Building and Code Enforcement Departments. He conducts all of the required inspections, having direct contact with the contractors performing work within the city limits,” said Building Commissioner, Jerry Foustnight.
Foustnight added, “Mike has become a very dependable and dedicated employee for us here at City Hall. I wish him well when he retires later this year. I encourage everyone to congratulate him for his many years of hard work, and wish him a happy retirement.”
Vermilion plans to retire on October 1st, 2019.
