McClure St. Parking Lot Closed for Cops Cycling for Survivors, 7/21/23 Share

The McClure St. Park­ing Lot east of City Hall will be closed on Fri­day, July 21st, 2023, from 8am-12pm.

From the Mar­i­on Police Depart­ment:

Cops Cycling for Sur­vivors will be rid­ing through Mar­i­on at approx­i­mate­ly 11:00 – 11:10am on Fri­day, July 21st, 2023. They will be stop­ping at the Mar­i­on Police Depart­ment to vis­it the Memo­r­i­al and hon­or the offi­cers killed in the line of duty in Grant Coun­ty. They will then trav­el to Indi­ana Wes­leyan Uni­ver­si­ty for lunch at approx­i­mate­ly 11:50am.

The
Cops Cycling for Sur­vivors group rides 1,000 miles in 13 days to hon­or fall­en Indi­ana Law Enforce­ment Offi­cers. They are a non­prof­it orga­ni­za­tion and will have mer­chan­dise for pur­chase to assist with their cause.

A
nyone who wish­es to attend should be at City Hall (301 S. Bran­son St., Mar­i­on, IN) pri­or to 11am.

Any­one who has con­nec­tions with Grant Coun­ty sur­vivors are encour­aged to reach out and invite them.
