MET (Mar­i­on Engi­neer­ing & Tech­nol­o­gy, Inc.) was found­ed in April, 2000 by Jim and Susan Sten­gel. Pri­or to April, 2000, the busi­ness oper­at­ed for over forty years as Mar­i­on Engi­neer­ing Prod­ucts, a Divi­sion of Greene Line Man­u­fac­tur­ing Cor­po­ra­tion.

MET is more than just a gen­er­al machine shop; the com­pa­ny has sev­er­al prod­uct lines of machin­ery that includes tech­ni­cal ser­vice and replace­ment parts. MET designs and builds spe­cial, one-of-a-kind machines for cus­tomers that auto­mate their process­es. Spe­cial­ties include cus­tom hydraulic cylin­der man­u­fac­tur­ing and repair, machine con­trol pan­els, PLC pro­gram­ming, assem­bly of mul­ti-con­duc­tor process con­trol cables, hydraulic pow­er units, and machin­ery rebuild­ing ser­vices.

The prod­ucts and ser­vices offered by MET are tai­lored to be unique and valu­able to its cus­tomers. Some of the unique ser­vices offered by the com­pa­ny include prob­lem-solv­ing and design work by an expe­ri­enced engi­neer­ing staff, off-hour main­te­nance sup­port and dai­ly pick-up and deliv­ery with­in the area. MET also pro­vides engi­neer­ing ser­vices, emer­gency repair work and gen­er­al main­te­nance sup­port to oth­er man­u­fac­tur­ing oper­a­tions in the area.

MET has a long-stand­ing rep­u­ta­tion in the com­mu­ni­ty for out­stand­ing cus­tomer ser­vice and for employ­ing one of the most skilled and diver­si­fied staff in the area. Mar­i­on is proud to be the long-stand­ing home for MET.
