Starting November 1st, 2021, the City of Marion is continuing the leaf bag assistance program by giving away leaf bags to residents in need while supplies last. Marion residents in need of leaf bags may pick them up at the Mayor’s Office anytime Mon-Fri from 8am-4pm, by entering City Hall from Branson St.

Upon providing proof of residency, we will provide up to 10 leaf bags per household.

The City of Marion thanks Max Ace Hardware for continued assistance with the leaf bag assistance program for the Marion community.

Per city ordinance, residents are required to bag leaves in biodegradable bags and set them at the curb for pickup on the same day as trash. *Even if your trash is picked up in an alley, please set leaf bags at the curb. Reminder: Raking leaves into the street is not permitted.
