Kath­leen Kathi” Kiley has been serv­ing the cit­i­zens of Mar­i­on for almost 40 years col­lec­tive­ly. She first served as First Deputy Clerk from 1980 to 89, then was elect­ed City Clerk in 91, and has been serv­ing in that capac­i­ty to present-day.

First Deputy Clerk, Deb­bie Good­man, expressed appre­ci­a­tion for their 30+ years of work­ing togeth­er, and count­ing. Kathi is very knowl­edge­able of the Com­mon Coun­cil and City Court sys­tem. We work very well togeth­er and have become more than just co-work­ers but family.”

Sec­ond Deputy Clerk, Vick­ie Burns, stat­ed sim­i­lar appre­ci­a­tion for Kiley in her 7 ½ years of work­ing for her. She’s a super boss. Best boss I’ve ever had. Kathi takes her job very seri­ous­ly, and is fam­i­ly-ori­ent­ed. It would be a hard job to fill if she ever left.”
