The City of Mar­i­on is accept­ing appli­ca­tions through Fri­day, Decem­ber 21^st, for the fol­low­ing posi­tion:

Trans­porta­tion is seek­ing appli­cants for a part-time bus driver.

Job respon­si­bil­i­ties: Oper­ates a bus along a pre­de­ter­mined route in a safe, time­ly, and cour­te­ous man­ner for the con­veyance of passengers.

Qual­i­fi­ca­tions: Must pos­sess valid Com­mer­cial Driver’s License (CDL) with appro­pri­ate endorse­ments (or abil­i­ty to obtain one with­in six (6) months); must be a min­i­mum of twen­ty-five (25) years of age; must have no more than two (2) points on dri­ving record with­in past two (2) years; must have at least one (1) year of expe­ri­ence dri­ving a man­u­al trans­mis­sion vehi­cle; must pass Depart­ment of Trans­porta­tion phys­i­cal exam­i­na­tion and drug screen.
