The City of Marion offers free mulch to citizens. Come out to Citywide Maintenance (Street Dept.) between 7:30am and 2:30pm Monday-Friday to pick up your mulch. The mulch pile is located behind the Citywide Maintenance Building located at 520 E. 6th St., Marion, IN 46953. Please bring your own shovel if you just need a small amount, but if you need assistance with larger amounts, please visit us in the Citywide Maintenance front office when you arrive.
Our mulch is made from collected yard waste/brush year-round. It provides good nutrients for gardens, and serves well as filler because it is not like regular landscaping mulch.
