The City of Mar­i­on offers free mulch to cit­i­zens. Come out to City­wide Main­te­nance (Street Dept.) between 7:30am and 2:30pm Mon­day-Fri­day to pick up your mulch. The mulch pile is locat­ed behind the City­wide Main­te­nance Build­ing locat­ed at 520 E. 6^th St., Mar­i­on, IN 46953. Please bring your own shov­el if you just need a small amount, but if you need assis­tance with larg­er amounts, please vis­it us in the City­wide Main­te­nance front office when you arrive.

Our mulch is made from col­lect­ed yard waste/​brush year-round. It pro­vides good nutri­ents for gar­dens, and serves well as filler because it is not like reg­u­lar land­scap­ing mulch.
