Nation­al Drug Take-Back Day is sched­uled for Sat­ur­day, Octo­ber 29^th, 2022, from 10am to 2pm. The Mar­i­on Police Depart­ment is once again a reg­is­tered col­lec­tion site. They will be col­lect­ing unused med­ica­tions in the park­ing lot of the Police Depart­ment (at McClure St. between 3^rd and 4^th) that day dur­ing those hours. They will not be accept­ing any nee­dles or syringes because the DEA does not accept them. Those may be tak­en to the local health depart­ment or an approved sharps con­tain­er. Thank you.
