The City of Mar­i­on has reg­u­la­tions in place for the use and oper­a­tion of motor­ized scoot­ers with­in city lim­its. Any per­son oper­at­ing a motor­ized scoot­er on a road­way shall obey traf­fic sig­nals, signs, and oth­er con­trol devices, as well as obey the laws applic­a­ble to vehi­cles unless oth­er­wise direct­ed by a law enforce­ment offi­cer. Motor­ized vehi­cle oper­a­tors must also yield to oth­er traf­fic and pedestrians.
