Did you know Marion has a company that designs and manufactures robots?? Since 1982, Computer Age Engineering has been engineering robotic equipment to solve issues in the automotive, medical, dental, aerospace, rubber, plastics, food processing, electronics, and warehouse distribution industries. CAE uses experience, knowledge, and computer-based tools to create engineered solutions in the form of machinery, equipment, and tooling. Further, CAE provides electrical design, mechanical design, special programming, and other engineering services.

CAE was started in Mike Bartrom’s garage with a couple of engineers and has since grown into a 14,000-square-foot building which includes a shop and office areas. Mike continues to lead the company, providing leading edge engineering services for customers across the nation. CAE demonstrates that entrepreneurs can be successful in Marion! CAE is providing highly advanced technical engineering solutions to companies all over the world — and we are fortunate that Mike and his team choose to call Marion home.
