City to Resume Yard Waste Pickup while Practicing Distancing Share

The City of Mar­i­on will begin pick­ing up yard waste this Thurs­day, April 23^rd, 2020. Due to COVID-19, our employ­ees will be work­ing solo. We urge cit­i­zens to make sure the yard waste put curb­side is done in a way that one per­son can load it into our trucks. Also, please keep your dis­tance if you inter­act with a city employ­ee. Our employ­ees will be wear­ing masks when out­side their vehicles.
