The City of Mar­i­on will be accept­ing appli­ca­tions through Fri­day, April 7^th, 2017 for the fol­low­ing position:

The Mar­i­on Parks Depart­ment is seek­ing an ener­getic, self-start­ing indi­vid­ual for a full-time Pro­gram Coor­di­na­tor position.

Job respon­si­bil­i­ties: Direct­ly respon­si­ble for the over­all plan­ning, direct­ing, imple­ment­ing and super­vis­ing of the Splash House and the var­i­ous activ­i­ties, pro­grams and con­ces­sions asso­ci­at­ed with the facil­i­ty includ­ing safe­ty and upkeep.

Qual­i­fi­ca­tions: Com­ple­tion of sec­ondary edu­ca­tion or GED, train­ing and/​or work expe­ri­ence in parks and recre­ation, or equiv­a­lent com­bi­na­tion; knowl­edge of water activ­i­ties and retail man­age­ment; must pos­sess valid driver’s license; CPR and First Aid cer­ti­fi­ca­tions (with­in three months of begin­ning employment).
