City Recognizes National Social Work Month with members of new Radiant Health Share

Grant Coun­ty social work­ers rep­re­sent­ing numer­ous fields of ser­vice under Radi­ant Health were present at City Hall Tues­day, March 21^st, 2023 for May­or Jess Alum­baugh­’s procla­ma­tion of March as Nation­al Social Work Month.

A press release from Radi­ant Health last week announced this year’s theme as, ​“Social Work Breaks Bar­ri­ers,” and cit­ed exam­ples of social work pio­neers who have empow­ered indi­vid­u­als and com­mu­ni­ties to over­come hur­dles, and through which enriched soci­ety as a whole.
