About the Event:

We are excit­ed that Christ­mas City Walk­way of Lights is host­ing its 50^th Anniver­sary of ​“Christ­mas City USA” in down­town Mar­i­on. This fes­tive event will include a Christ­mas Tree light­ing cer­e­mo­ny, trol­ley rides through the Walk­way of Lights, live music, a fire pit to roast s’mores, Christ­mas movies, ven­dors, food, and the Christ­mas Parade will be mov­ing back down­town!

There will be bands, car­ol­ers, dancers, and per­form­ers from local schools, church­es, and orga­ni­za­tions; down­town mer­chants and arts orga­ni­za­tions will dec­o­rate stores and alley­ways; and for shop­pers – we will offer a pop-up hol­i­day shop, art gallery, and spe­cial sales along with oth­er hap­pen­ings! And…the Coun­ty Cour­t­house will be dec­o­rat­ed, thanks to a gen­er­ous donation!
