We have dedicated firefighters who are American Heart Association C.P.R. instructors. They will teach small or large groups.
Healthcare Provider/BLS Course
This course is either for an individual working in the healthcare field or one who would like to become C.P.R. certified. It covers how to recognize the signs and symptoms of an individual who is in need of C.P.R. and what steps to take to help that individual. The course covers how to recognize the signs and symptoms of the individual who may need rescue breathing. In addition, the course covers the steps to take for the individual who has an obstruction airway. All of this covers what to do for the adult, child, and infant. Finally, it covers the usage of a defibrillator on the adult and child. The course requires a proficiency test in hands-on skills and a written examination.

$45 per person in advance (no refunds for no-shows)
Schedule
There are two offerings per month:
2nd Friday of the month at 2pm
2nd Saturday of the month at 10am
The course takes place in one day for a duration of approximately 4 hours. Each class is located in the 2nd Floor Conference Room at City Hall.
