The City of Marion will be accepting applications through Friday, July 18th, 2025 for the following position:
City of Marion Park Department is seeking applicants for two part-time Park Security positions.
Job responsibilities: Ensures the safety and proper usage of municipal park facilities for all park visitors. This includes patrolling park areas, responding to incidents, and enforcing park rules and regulations. Responsibilities include patrolling, responding to complaints and emergencies, assisting the public. Additional duties include maintaining restroom facilities, stocking restrooms with supplies, trash/debris removal of the grounds in each park/facility.
Qualifications: Any combination of education, training, and experience which provides the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities to perform the work of this position. Must be 21 years of age or older and maintain a valid driver’s license. This position often requires flexibility, including weekends and holidays, and may involve a range of hours, from 8 to 29 hours per week, depending on the specific role and employer.
