Layla and Phoebe”, an adoptable shelter dog, strolled around Charles Mill Park and Boots Street Park along the Mississinewa River. Phoebe loved sniffing around and exploring along the river. The 3 year-old Husky Shepherd is a new mama having given birth to 11 pups 6 wks ago! Today, she is officially up for adoption and would love a new home. Phoebe is well mannered around people, kids, and other animals. Call ACC at 765.668.4491.

#DogDateAfternoon is an ongoing program in which City Marketing & Community Relations Director Layla Price participates in Marion Animal Care & Control’s Loaning Love” program by taking a shelter dog on a walk at a Marion park or public place in efforts to promote pet adoption and Marion’s public places.
