"Phoebe" at Charles Mill Park & Boots Street Park Share

Lay­la and Phoebe”, an adopt­able shel­ter dog, strolled around Charles Mill Park and Boots Street Park along the Mis­sissinewa Riv­er. Phoebe loved sniff­ing around and explor­ing along the riv­er. The 3 year-old Husky Shep­herd is a new mama hav­ing giv­en birth to 11 pups 6 wks ago! Today, she is offi­cial­ly up for adop­tion and would love a new home. Phoebe is well man­nered around peo­ple, kids, and oth­er ani­mals. Call ACC at 765.668.4491.

#Dog­DateAfter­noon is an ongo­ing pro­gram in which City Mar­ket­ing & Com­mu­ni­ty Rela­tions Direc­tor Lay­la Price par­tic­i­pates in Mar­i­on Ani­mal Care & Control’s Loan­ing Love” pro­gram by tak­ing a shel­ter dog on a walk at a Mar­i­on park or pub­lic place in efforts to pro­mote pet adop­tion and Marion’s pub­lic places.

UPDATE (May 25th, 2018): Phoebe has since been adopted!
