What an incredible year of teamwork, hard work, and community pride! Mayor Ronald Morrell Jr.’s Citywide Cleanup, part of the Clean City 2.0 initiative, brought residents, volunteers, sponsors, and City crews together throughout 2026 with one goal: a cleaner, stronger Marion we can all be proud to call home.
Throughout the six cleanup dates, 40-yard dumpsters were available to serve the entire community, along with special curbside pickup days in each of Marion’s six districts.
And Marion showed up!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who loaded a truck, cleaned a yard, hauled unwanted items, volunteered, worked a cleanup site, or simply did their part to make Marion shine.
Every effort… big or small… made a difference.
We also want to recognize the sponsors and community partners who helped make this year possible: Trusted Facility Solutions, Lowe’s, Martinez Lawn Care, Journey Square, Shrout’s Towing, Central Midwest Carpenters, and Grant County Rescue Mission.
We greatly appreciate your partnership and commitment to our community!
Clean City 2.0 is about more than removing unwanted items; it’s about community pride, working together, and investing in the city we call home.
Marion, THANK YOU for making an IMPACT in 2026! 💙
