Per­mit Com­pli­ance Officer

The City of Marion will be accepting applications through Wednesday, August 21st, 2019 for the following position:

The City of Marion is seeking an energetic, self-starting individual for a full-time Permit Compliance Officer.

Job responsibilities: Administers the City Building Ordinance and performs all functions specified by state statute to be performed by the local building commissioner.

Qualifications: Completion of secondary education or equivalent; must possess valid driver’s license; five (5) years experience in a building trade or trades, or employment as Assistant Building Inspector with three (3) years under direct supervision or a qualified Building Inspector.
