The City of Marion Parks Department is seeking an energetic, self-starting individual for a full-time Maintenance and Operations Assistant.

Job responsibilities: Performs a wide variety of grounds and gardens, skilled and unskilled building and mechanical tasks, and assists in the maintenance of city park property and facilities.

Qualifications: Experience in landscape management, horticulture or botany; detail-oriented; possess knowledge of plants, layout and installation of flower and landscape beds; experience in hardscaping and equipment operation.
